THE PERSONAL JOURNAL OF NYCHOLAS BURNS
Rooted
in truth.
Looking beyond.
Faith in Jesus Christ. A mind drawn to the frontier.
A life grounded in the work and wonder of the everyday.
01 / THE JOURNAL
Ideas worth sitting with.
Notes from
the frontier.
Belief should change how we live.
Following Jesus reaches into our work, our decisions, and the ordinary moments when nobody is watching.
Think in decades.
Why my interest in Bitcoin starts with money, conviction, and a much longer horizon than the next price move.
The frontier is worth exploring.
A curiosity about space, artificial intelligence, and what becomes possible when we learn to build with new tools.
Strong and capable.
The kind of strength I care about has a purpose beyond the weight on the bar.
A small interruption.
An unexpected encounter at Grand Lake, and the blessings we can miss when we stop paying attention.
Look backward. See farther.
The questions that draw me to history, and why understanding the present means looking beyond it.
The pull of open country.
Wide landscapes, hunting, and a love for the world beyond the screen.
02 / THE PERSON
I'm Nyc.
A follower of Jesus Christ. A husband and father. An Oklahoman with a curiosity that keeps looking over the next ridge.
I'm interested in the things that shape how we live: what we believe, how we think, what we build, and what we choose to notice. That takes me from Scripture to Bitcoin, from artificial intelligence to history, and from the weight room to the quiet of the outdoors.
I love the Western landscape, hunting, physical work, and the small blessings that are easy to walk past. This is a place to put those thoughts into words and keep asking better questions.
“Set your minds on things above,
not on earthly things.”
